Blade Shapes
The blade shapes are grouped into categories based on their size and general applicability to different playing styles.
- Compact - These shapes are most often used for attacking style blades, having a lower surface area and more maneuverable size.
- Standard - These shapes favor an all-round game with a blended offensive/defensive playing style.
- Oversized - These shapes generally favor a defensive style where greater control is desirable for looping or chopping.
- Specialty - For blade shapes like the traditional J-Pen, etc.
Each shape is shown with one of the possible handle shapes. Most head shapes can be combined with any of the handle shapes. Download a PDF version of each shape to check sizing.
Note: when printing, ensure that scaling is disabled or the blade outline may print smaller than actual size. When in doubt, check the dimensions printed on the template against the printed shape.
